SESSION 1 - 10:00-11:30 a.m.
"What's Your Superpower? (Your PAC has one too!)"
Are you using your Superpower in your position? In your PAC role? What is your Superpower?  There's little question, you perform best when you use your best assets. In this session, you'll learn how to identify your Superpower (even those you aren't aware of!) Then, you'll learn how to use those Superpowers in your role as PAC manager -- with your managers, your team, and your eligibles.

SESSION 2 - 11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
"Preparing Your Champions"
You rely on your champions to carry the message and rally the troops. What are you doing to rally your champions? In this session, you'll get tips to train your champions for best results and learn what your peers are doing to ensure their champions are reaching their goals.
Bring your best two tips preparing your champions!

SESSION 3 - 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.
"Let's go the video (conference/webinar)"
If you haven't harnessed the power of video, videoconferences, and webinars, this session is for you! If you're using videos, VCs, and webinars -- but you're not happy with the group engagement, what gets done, or who shows up, this session is for you!  If you're frustrated with the look, feel, and results of your VCs/webinars/videos, this session is for you! Put your VC/webinar/video etiquette to the test. Learn to get your VC/webinar audience engaged, ensure people benefit, and look good on your VCs/webinars/videos.

More about Laurie Richards

Laurie Richards is an accomplished international speaker who works with thousands of executives and association leaders. Known for her practical, interactive, and entertaining approach, Richards works with leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, sales people, and other professionals on strategically planning outcome-based presentations and improving communications to directly affect the bottom line - including new business pitches, state-of-the-organization addresses, sales presentations, and everyday meetings and reports.

Richards began her career as a legislative correspondent for Public Broadcasting. She managed leader communications for the National Pork Producers Council-the nation's largest commodity organization and originator of the successful, "Pork. The Other White Meat" campaign. Richards has hosted radio and television shows, managed one of the nation's fastest growing public relations agencies, launched award-winning public affairs programs, and managed highly effective grassroots lobbying and professional development programs for Fortune 500 companies and associations.

Richards is described as "enthusiastic, professional, effective, practical, savvy, inspiring, and enlightening," she has addressed audiences throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.  She has authored several books and programs, including the popular Give Stress a Rest.  
Richards has degrees in communication and business management and masters' degrees in business management and psychology.  She has a variety of certifications in micro-expressions and psychological profiling.  Richards is currently working toward her PhD in industrial and organizational psychology.  
NABPAC is the only national non-profit organization committed solely to the interests of political action committees and the political action professional.  Membership includes over 700 public affairs executives from more than 240 corporations and associations raised more than $220 million in PAC receipts in the 2016 election cycle.  Our mission is to promote and defend PACs and to offer a forum for improving PAC management and political action programs through conferences, publications and member networking.  Dues and contributions to NABPAC are not tax deductible.
