A roundtable series on issues of importance to political action professionals
Forty-four years ago, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) was formed to enforce a myriad of new regulations designed to provide a more transparent and accountable campaign finance system.  Due to partisan gridlock that has prevented new nominations, the current four Commissioners have served for a total of 32 years longer than their terms.  Hear thoughts from two former FEC Chairmen on how this situation – coupled with a rapidly-changing campaign finance environment – has and will continue to affect the operations of the commission.
